I stayed at the resort campground. Porta potty but a lot and maintained. The sites had some gladd about mut hard to maintain that. Be weary of ticks this season. Lake is very low but would still recommend camping for stars and easy getaway from north bay.

This mountain range lake area is great for a relaxing stop or picnic. There is a museum with lots of local history and a guide on hand to answer questions and give helpful information of the region.

Lovely serene drive from Healdsburg to the lake. Recommend a visit and walk around the marina. Do not miss the visitor center to learn about state efforts to bring steelhead and salmon back to the region. Followup with a visit to the hatchery where you can view and feed the fish.

We went to the fish hatchery and learned a lot. We drove up the mountain and went to the view points and were wowed by the gorgeous perspectives. We took a lot of photos. This is a huge area and a real treasure.
