Enjoy a real Lake Sonoma camping experience!
The campground sits on a scenic hill above Lake Sonoma with access to miles of hiking trails. Each campsite includes a picnic table, a fire ring and space for 1-2 vehicles. Your campsite also includes free access for one vehicle to visit beautiful Lake Sonoma Marina which has lakeside green lawn picnic areas, a general store, and a wide variety of boat rentals. Horseback trail rides are available at The Ranch at Lake Sonoma which is only a short walk away.
Campsites are only $45 per night for one vehicle and can accommodate up to eight people. One additional car is permitted for an additional $15 per night. Camping with a boat? We offer overnight wet storage on the docks for an additional $90 per night. Use of the Marina launch ramp is $20.
Campground bathrooms are provided via chemical toilets and there is no potable water on site. For fire safety, there is a large tank of non-potable water available to help extinguish campfires. Restrooms and potable water are located down the hill at the Marina.

- Take US-101 North to Healdsburg
- Take the Dry Creek Road exit, turn left onto Dry Creek Road, proceed under the freeway
- Follow Dry Creek Road approximately 10.2 miles until you reach the Lake Sonoma dam, the road will take a sharp turn to the left and becomes Skaggs Springs Road.
- Continue up the hill (Past Army Corps of Engineers & fish hatchery) for 1.8 miles
- Turn left to stay on Skaggs Springs Road/Stewarts Point Road at the sign, continue for 0.7 miles. (If you cross the bridge, you’ve gone too far)
- Turn right onto Marina Drive and continue down to the bottom of the hill to the marina

- Take US-101 South toward Santa Rosa/San Francisco
- Take the Dutcher Creek Rd/Stewarts Point exit for 0.3 miles.
- Turn right at Theresa Dr for 157 feet.
- Take the 1st left onto Dutcher Creek Rd for 4.1 miles
- Turn right at Dry Creek Rd for 1.5 miles until you reach the Lake Sonoma dam, the road will take a sharp turn to the left and becomes Skaggs Springs Road.
- Continue up the hill (Past Army Corps of Engineers & fish hatchery) for 1.8 miles
